Montreal: A City of Contrasts and Collaboration
Client: Tourism Montreal
Supplemental feature for Smart Meetings February 2014. Collaboration with Art Director and Marketing Director.
The client was looking for a marketing piece based on the theme of 'work' and 'play': contrasting Montreal's industries with entertainment. For the layout, we focused on one particular industry and juxtaposed it with a related entertainment, for example the Aerospace industry was paired with the acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil. Stylistically, we played with the concepts of contrast with light and dark colors and light and heavy typography.
I designed the cover, finalized the interior layout, sourced and retouched images, and designed icons based off of client brand guidelines.
